Dr. Brent Steadman M.D. - Doctor
Dr. Brent Steadman M.D. was born and raised in Texas. He attended Texas A&M University, and received a B.S. in Biology. He then attended Texas Tech H.S.C for medical school and received his M.D. degree. Dr. Steadman trained at Scott & White in Temple, TX in pediatrics. Dr. Steadman has been practicing pediatrics in Abilene for 25 years. He has been married to his wonderful wife of 24 years Emily, and they have 4 great children; Ally, Grace, Caroline, and Jack.
Amber Walker APRN, CPNP-PC - Nurse Practitioner
Amber Walker was born and raised in Texas. She received her Bachelors in Nursing from Texas Tech Health Science Center in Lubbock, Texas in 2011, and her Masters in Nursing from the University of Arkansas Medical Science Center in Little Rock, Arkansas in 2019. Amber has been working in medicine for over 13 years and has a passion for loving people at the bedside and helping diagnosis the immediate and long-term needs of patients and their families. Amber has been married for over 10 years to her loving husband, Randy Walker, and she enjoys spending time with her two goldendoodle puppies- Ellie and Junior.
Andrea Mendoza - Office Manager
Andrea grew up in Abilene, Texas and attended Abilene High school before going to college to receive her certification for Medical Assisting in 2008. She has worked at Steadman Pediatrics since 2010, first as the receptionist and now, the office manager. When she is not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her two sons.
Camille Ward MA, LPC-A - Counselor
Camille was born and raised in Knox City, TX. She is a mother who loves singing and making memories with her daughter. She has been an employee under Dr. Steadman for 11+ years and during that time received a Master's in Clinical Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy. Camille is currently accepting clients!
Devyn Snow - Medical Assistant & Vaccine Coordinator
Devyn has a degree from Schreiner University and a degree from Cisco College. She started working for Steadman Pediatrics in 2016 before going back to school at Hardin-Simmons University. Her and her husband have a daughter that was born in 2021 that they love to spend time with!
Dusty Harbin - Medical Assistant
Dusty is a Certified Medical Assistant who’s been rocking the field since 2023, with oncology experience and a big heart for patient care. Outside of work, Dusty enjoys cooking and spending time with her two dogs. She brings both compassion and dedication into everything she does, professionally and personally.
Claire Proctor, APRN CPNP-PC - Nurse Practitioner
Claire Proctor was born and raised in Texas. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Abilene Christian University in 2021 and Masters of Nursing from University of Texas at Arlington in 2025. She has been living in Abilene for 8 years now and is passionate about caring for the Abilene community. She has been married to her firefighter husband, Blake Proctor, for 4 years and they have a little boy at home, Beau. She enjoys reading and going golfing with her husband in her free time.
Sara Cherryhomes - Receptionist
Sarah grew up in Trophy Club, TX. She went to the Health Coach Institute in Dallas and also UNT in Denton. A Licensed health/wellness and life coach, Sarah brings positivity, patience, and a friendly face to every visit. She is a parent of two, an animal lover and loves taking long walks on the beach.
Nancy Turner - Receptionist
Nancy was born and raised in Merkel Tx. Nancy has been married to her wonderful husband Timothy Turner for 10 years. Her and her husband have two children. When not in the office you will find her spending time with her family, sitting around a campfire, fishing or in a deer blind!
